Tim is a life-long resident of Brisbane's North-West. 

He and his wife Gayle have raised four children in the district and are proud Grandparents to their five Grandchildren.


State Member for Everton

Tim is honoured to be the Member of Parliament for the seat of Everton since 2012 and is currently serving in the role of Shadow Minister for Housing and Public Works and Shadow Minister for Sports and Racing. 

Tim is passionate about making Everton the most liveable region in Queensland.  

A born and bred Brisbane boy, Tim attended Grovely State School and Mitchelton State High School. He played junior football for the West Arana Hills Rugby League Football Club, and is passionate about living and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Tim is a known local identity through his 20-year career as a leading NRL referee, earning respect for being fair, even-handed and making accurate decisions under incredible pressure.  Tim’s political objectives aim to echo his refereeing skills – to win respect, not necessarily popularity.

For the six years prior to being elected, Tim was the CEO of Australia's fastest growing youth and children's organisation, he has overseen the massive growth of the nationally acclaimed school chaplaincy program.

Tim has performed the following parliamentary roles:
